Cap of The Nation Challenge
Are you ready to design something extraordinary? The Cap of The Nation Challenge is your opportunity to showcase your creativity and celebrate the spirit of the UAE. Design a cap inspired by UAE culture, heritage, or values, and compete for a grand prize of 3,000 AED!
How It Works
1️⃣ Design Submission:
Submit your cap design through the provided link. Designs must represent UAE culture, heritage, or values and follow the embroidery requirements.
2️⃣ Finalist Selection:
• The top 5 designs will be selected based on creativity, originality, and market appeal.
• Finalists’ designs will be produced into 50 caps each.
3️⃣ Sales Challenge:
• Finalists will promote and sell their caps.
• The first to sell 50 caps or the one with the highest sales will win the grand prize!
4️⃣ Prizes:
• Grand Prize: 3,000 AED 💰
• Runner-ups: In-kind prizes and certificates of appreciation.

• Finalists Announcement: 20 January 2025
• Sales Period: 1 - 20 February 2025
• Winner Announcement: 21 February 2025
Design Guidelines for Embroidery
To ensure your design is suitable for embroidery, please follow these guidelines:
1. Color Limitation:
• Use a maximum of 2 solid colors. Avoid gradients or shadows.
2. Size and Placement:
• Your design must fit within an embroidery area of Width 8 cm x Height 4 cm.
• Place the design for the cap’s front panel.
3. Line Thickness and Spacing:
• Lines should be at least 2 mm thick. Avoid thin or closely spaced lines that may overlap during stitching.
4. Avoid Small or Intricate Elements:
• Keep the design bold and simple. Avoid tiny text, fine details, or small shapes.
5. Solid and Clear Shapes:
• Use clean, solid shapes without textures or intricate patterns.
6. Text Guidelines:
• Use bold, block-style fonts with letters at least 8 mm tall. Avoid cursive or overly decorative fonts.
7. Edge and Border Considerations:
• Ensure smooth and well-defined edges. Avoid overly intricate borders or outlines.
8. Testing Your Design:
• Preview your design at its actual size (10 cm x 10 cm) to ensure clarity and legibility.
By adhering to these guidelines, your design will translate beautifully into embroidery and stand out on the cap!
Terms and Conditions
1. Originality: All designs must be original and created by the participant. Designs must not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks.
2. Theme Compliance: Designs must reflect UAE culture, heritage, or values.
3. Embroidery Suitability: All designs must follow the detailed embroidery requirements provided.
4. Ownership of Caps: All produced caps remain the property of Ibtikar General Trading until sold.
5. Finalist Commitment:
• Finalists must fully commit to the competition and the sales challenge.
• No withdrawal is allowed once selected as a finalist.
• If a finalist withdraws, they will be required to pay a penalty equivalent to the price of 25 caps.
6. Sales Period: Finalists must sell the caps within the defined sales period.
7. Judging: Final decisions on winners and awards will be made by the competition organizers and are final.
8. Disqualification: Failure to adhere to the rules or misrepresentation of designs will result in disqualification.
How to Participate
1. Create your unique cap design.
2. Submit your design and details through the submission link.
3. Confirm your agreement to the terms and conditions by checking the acknowledgment box.
